I'm going to test the "Link" button to see if this works. I guess maybe if I wanted to "link" something, a good place to start would have been the "link" button. What a numb skull I can be!
I put in the link to querytracker as a test. Here goes nothing.
Hmmm, so that didn't work apparently. What did I do wrong?
ReplyDeleteI never use this feature on Blogspot since I always copy my blog from Wordpress. I'll do a test-link and write you with a step-by-step.
ReplyDeleteOkay. I wrote Melissa's blog into a new entry and blocked that text with the mouse.
ReplyDeleteI then pushed the Link button and copied the link to your blog into the "To what URL should this link go?" (The Display text came automatically since I'd already blocked the "Melissa's blog" text.)
And then I pressed "OK" :)
Let me know if it still doesn't work.
First, copy the link that you want. For example http://melissagettingpublished.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteSecond, highlight the words that you want people to click on. If you wanted the word "Link" to turn blue and have people click on it, you'd highlight that word.
Third, click on the word "Link". It shows the highlighted text, and then there's a place for pasting the address you wanted. I think it says "website here" or something.
Last, click ok.
